Shea Butter

Fair Trade Grade A Shea fruit butter.
This butter is a natural butter nothing added or taken away.
How to use : For direct application to the skin; take a small amount in the palm of your hand. Rub your hands together to warm up the butter until it is smooth and liquid. Then apply to your skin. You need only a small amount. Try applying the Butter before going to bed. Shea Butter absorbs quickly into the skin, but there will be a few minutes that it feels oily (it is not a oil). Shea Butter can also be applied to your hair. Some people apply it before washing to protect the hair from harsh shampoos or try one of our soap bars. It can also be applied after washing as a conditioner. Apply it in the same manner as to the skin

What is Shea butter ? A small plum size stone only found in the tropics of Africa. It is extracted from the nuts of the Shea-Karite tree which begins to bear fruit after about 15 years; and can take up to 30 years to bear a quality crop of nuts with a high content of irremovable fatty acid. It is this irremovable fatty acid that gives shea butter its unique healing properties and makes it far superior to cocoa butter and other vegetable butters.

How do I store Shea Butter? Does not need to be refrigerated, over a period of two or three years, it will begin to lose some of its effectiveness.  As the natural ingredients begin to break down, some of the healing benefits will be reduced, it will continue to be an effective moisturizer.  Store in a cool (not necessarily cold place, it will get hard).  If you're going to use it within a couple of years, you should have no problems.  You may Try Shea Butter on these conditions:
